Image credit: JuliaDifferentialGamesDifferentialGames.jl and related packages in the ecosystem were born out of my current docutoral research. Ultimately, I wanted a simple way to define differential games and be able switch between various solvers.
There is a major issue in the research area of differential games: almost no one open sources their code. This has meant that much of the great methodolocial improvements have been relagated just to academia, with little more impact. This package was created to provide a common interface and make it easier to open up research code to the broader community.

Outland is a doctoral student at the University of Colorado Boulder, Smead Department of Aerospace Engineering Sciences. His research is in differential game theory, safe multi-agent systems, and computational astrodynamics — with a focus on algorithms that are tractable enough to run onboard while providing formal guarantees.
