Abstract
Presents a data-driven approach to modeling VLEO satellite dynamics in hypersonic rarefied flow using sparse regression of basis functions. The model accounts for dynamic atmospheric conditions driven by space weather, and successive convexification is used for fuel-efficient reference orbit maintenance.
