I am currently a Mechanical Engineering Student at South Dakota Mines who has a passion for design and programming. My main focus is learning more about robotic learning and applying various machine learning techniques to real-world scenarios. I am currently pursuing this through various personal and course projects. However, I have also been doing researching in the field of computational orbital dynamics. I am also a proud SMART Scholar for the Air Force Research Lab Space Vehicles Directorate.
I am currently studying the lifetimes of solar systems similar to those observed by the Kepler space telescope. While this is interesting from a fundamental science perspective, it also helps indicate the age of the solar systems we observe and how stable they are. I programmed a multiprocessing N‑planet application, used in concert with the Rebound package developed by (Rein et al.), to simulate planetary systems in parallel, which generated the novel datasets for this research.
GitHub
I love creating open source projects! Please click the Octocat to look at my GitHub page. There, you can see the projects that I have worked on and possibly some projects in development!
Robotics
I am passionate about robotic systems and their design! The image above is a code flowchart of a project I did in my Freshman year for an autonomous vehicle traversing through a course! I am a member of the Rocker Robotics club at South Dakota Mines. Specifcally, I have interest in autonomous systems and robotic simulation.
Music
When I am not programming, I enjoy listening to and making music! I sing both tenor and bass ocassionally at Westminster Presbyterian. I also play the viola in the South Dakota Mines Orchestra and was a member of the String Theory small ensemble.
